Job Description:
Maintenance Technician (Electrical) Bakery production industry Dublin 12.
Cpl are delighted to be partnered with a Heritage Brand in the Irish food industry to help them recruit a skilled Electrical Technician for their Bakery Business in Dublin 12.
Due to continued business growth, they have a requirement to hire an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join the team.
This is a full-time employment opportunity with a market leading salary.
This is an on-site role working on a rotating shift pattern 5 over 7 (days and evenings).
You must be eligible for full-time employment in Ireland to be considered for this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Set-up, install, maintain and support packaging and manufacturing equipment to ensure optimum performance.
2. Provide day-to-day engineering services in a busy high-speed manufacturing environment.
3. Be responsible for the Zone / Line performance and overall maintenance and repair of the equipment and machinery.
4. Resolve problems that arise on site quickly and efficiently.
5. Provide cost-effective design solutions for plant and equipment requirements.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance documentation.
7. Deliver a high-quality maintenance service to production.
8. Ensure tool uptime is above 95%.
9. Plan work activities to improve Line Zone performance in conjunction with the Supervisor/Lead technician.
10. Troubleshoot and repair damaged or poor performing equipment.
Qualifications:
1. At least 3 years’ trade experience as an Electrical Maintenance technician.
2. Background in High Volume Regulated Food Production or BRC Grade, GMP Manufacturing, FMCG, Bottling, Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical or related industries.
3. Knowledge of food manufacturing regulations is an advantage.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
6. PLC / Controller experience (programming an advantage).
7. National Craft Senior Trades Electrician or Equivalent Qualification is essential.
