We’re seeking a trustworthy, reliable, and friendly individual with the initiative and ability to be hands-on and proactive in a busy, animal-centred environment. The Rehoming Coordinator plays a vital role in the responsible rehoming of the rescued animals in our care. Our objective is to match each animal to a suitable forever home—one that aligns with our policies and procedures—where they will be loved and cared for the rest of their days. This is a public-facing role, and we’re looking for someone who can represent the values of our organisation with professionalism, compassion, and sound judgment.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
• Excellent animal handling experience.
• A basic level of education, including a high standard of written and spoken English.
• A keen interest in animal welfare.
• Good organisational and time-management skills, with a strong attention to detail.
• Strong data entry skills, as the role involves maintaining accurate records and compiling statistics for internal reports and external stakeholders.
• Comfortable working independently, as well as part of a team.
• Emotional resilience and the ability to cope with potentially distressing and situations.
• A full clean driving licence.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
• Experience in a customer or client facing role.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Animal behaviour evaluation and assessment skills.
• An interest in photography and videography.
