All products are manufactured at our state-of-the-art 300mm fab in East Fishkill, NY.Your RoleWe are seeking a seasoned Digital Design Expert to lead as the Digital Architect for the Treo Platform. This is a unique opportunity to shape the architecture of a transformative technology platform within a dynamic, global organization.You will collaborate with a focused team of architects to define and evolve the digital architecture of the Treo Platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and innovation.ResponsibilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesDefine architectural requirements and product partitioningCreate a scalable and robust platform-level digital architectureSelect and configure IP blocks for optimal performanceSpecify hardware/software interfacesCollaborate with IP centers of excellence on RTL and IP integrationLead verification planning and ensure design testabilityWork cross-functionally with product, silicon, validation, and systems teamsPerform hands-on RTL coding for design exploration and prototypingDrive innovation and standardization across platform designsQualificationsRequired QualificationsMaster's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field15+ years of experience in digital design, SoC architecture, or hardware engineeringProven expertise in SoC architecture, IP selection, RTL design, verification, and emulationStrong grasp of digital design principles: FSMs, timing analysis, combinational/sequential logicProficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilogFamiliarity with tools: Lint, CDC, RDC, Design CompilerExperience with standard interfaces: APB, AHB, AXI, SPI, I2C, DMAKnowledge of ARM and RISC CPU subsystemsKnowledge of Digital Signal ProcessingDesign techniques: pipelining, low latency, power optimizationExperience writing high-quality technical documentationProficiency in scripting languages: Python, PERLExperience mentoring engineers and leading small projectsAbility to write specifications from high-level requirementsUnderstanding of DFT, Functional Safety (FuSa), Cryptography, and SecurityPreferred QualificationsExperience with AI-driven digital design toolsExposure to platform standardization and IP reuse strategiesAbout Usonsemi(Nasdaq: ON) is driving disruptive innovations to help build a better future.
