Qstream is seeking anIT Support Specialistto deliver reliable, proactive, and security-focused support for our team. This role will ensure smooth day-to-day operations across our environments, manage IT vendor relationships, maintain an IT Service Management (ITSM) platform and oversee core IT processes and procedures. The specialist will also play a key role in compliance activities including SOC 2 processes and help the business stay ahead of emerging technologies, with a focus on the responsible adoption of AI tools. This role will report to the VP of Engineering, Security and IT Operations and sit within this department.Roles & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Employee IT SupportAct as the first point of contact for all internal IT issues, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity problems and maintain the IT Service Management (ITSM) platform.Manage onboarding and offboarding of staff, including provisioning and deprovisioning accounts, devices, and permissions.Support employees in the secure use of productivity tools, with a focus on Google Workspace and integrated SaaS applications.Maintain comprehensive IT documentation and support business continuity and disaster recovery planning to ensure resilience and complianceOversee IT vendor relationships, including selection, contract management, performance monitoring, and support escalation to ensure value and service qualitySystems & SecurityMaintain and administer internal IT systems, ensuring consistent performance and availability.Manage identity and access management, ensuring SSO/2FA policies are applied consistently.Ensure secure device management (laptops, MDM, patching, and endpoint protection).Document IT processes, policies, and configurations.Maintain awareness of current security technologies, threats, mitigations and general security best practicesSupport development and operation of internal security awareness communications and training programs.Monitor, review and respond to actual or potential security incidents, threats or flaws relevant to deployed technologies and services.Respond to customer security assessment requests made to the organisationCompliance & Audit SupportCoordinate IT-related aspects of the company's annual SOC 2 audit, ensuring evidence is collected and controls are operating effectively.Support internal security reviews, risk assessments, and audits.Partner with the Security and Engineering teams to address audit findings and implement best practices.Work with both technical and business functions to promote awareness and best practices across the organisation to meet the goals of the security program.Innovation & AI ReadinessStay informed on emerging technologies, with particular focus on AI tools and their secure, responsible integration into business operations.Provide recommendations on AI-enabled productivity and IT tools that could improve efficiency and compliance.Key Skills & Experience:Proven experience in IT support, ideally in a SaaS or cloud-first environment.Strong knowledge of Google Workspace administration.Experience with identity and access management (SSO, MFA/2FA, SCIM).Familiarity with IT compliance frameworks, especially SOC 2.Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.Understanding of SaaS application ecosystems and integrations.Awareness of AI trends and ability to evaluate tools for safe, compliant use.Experience in Information security operations and technical business analysis fields, preferably involving cloud-hosted infrastructureFamiliarity with major cloud service stacks especially AWSProactive approach to problem solving with ability to report and present risks, issues and assessments to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Positive attitude and ability to work and communicate well with both internal and external customers and stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications:Certifications: ITIL, CompTIA Security+, Google Workspace Admin, or similar.Experience with MDM/endpoint management solutionsPrior involvement in security audits (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).Interest in or exposure to AI-powered IT tools and automation.What We Offer:Opportunity to shape IT operations in a growing SaaS company.Exposure to SOC 2 audit processes and enterprise security standards.A culture that embraces innovation, including the safe use of AI.Flexible working environment and supportive team.TO ALL RECRUITMENT AGENCIES: Qstream does not accept agency resumes.
