Head of Sales - Food Ingredients
An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced commercial leader to take on a Head of Sales role with a leading food ingredients company. The company supplies unique ingredient solutions to customers across the food industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team that’s genuinely passionate about their work and the future of their business.
This is a hands‑on leadership position where you’ll guide a capable sales team, manage key accounts, and shape the strategic direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver a clear, growth‑focused sales strategy.
* Lead and mentor a small team of high‑performing sales professionals.
* Manage key customer relationships and drive new business opportunities.
* Collaborate with technical, operations and finance teams to deliver customer‑focused solutions.
* Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions.
Ideal Background
* 8+ years’ experience in sales or commercial management within food ingredients.
* Proven track record in driving sales growth and developing customer partnerships.
* Strong negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
* Experience managing and motivating teams.
* Degree in Business, Marketing, or Food Science (preferred).
