Civils Quantity Surveyor BusConnects (Dublin) A leading civil contractor is seeking a Civils Quantity Surveyor to support the Liffey Valley to City Centre Core Bus Corridor Scheme, part of the BusConnects programme a major investment in sustainable transport. The role offers the opportunity to manage project costs, contracts, and commercial reporting, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This position is ideal for someone with civil infrastructure QS experience, particularly in transport, utilities, or urban development projects. Duties Prepare, review, and manage project budgets and cost plans Monitor project costs, cash flows, and financial performance Administer contracts, valuations, and payments to subcontractors Prepare progress reports, cost forecasts, and commercial updates for clients and senior management Identify potential financial risks and implement mitigation strategies Support tendering, procurement, and variation management Maintain accurate records of contracts, correspondence, and commercial documentation Requirements Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil infrastructure, transport, or utilities projects Proven ability to manage project budgets and commercial reporting Strong knowledge of construction methods, contract administration, and project controls Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and document management systems Positive, proactive attitude with focus on delivering results and continuous improvement Experience with transport or sustainable infrastructure projects is desirable but not essential Salary & Benefits €70k€85k (depending on experience) Comprehensive benefits package Apply If you are a Civils Quantity Surveyor considering your next career move, please send your CV or contact Amy Maguire for a confidential discussion.
