Quantity Surveyor - Dublin Location: Dublin, Leinster, Ireland Type: Full-time Category: Commercial Salary: €85,000 - €110,000 annually A Quantity Surveyor is required to work for a leading Tier 2 Main Contractor. Based initially in North Dublin on a 400 unit residential project, you will oversee the commercial performance of a number of key packages with the support of Junior staff. Job Responsibilities: Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. Conduct feasibility studies to assess the project potential and financial viability. Oversee the procurement process by valuing tenders, negotiating contracts, and managing subcontractors. Monitor project costs and manage variations throughout the project's life cycle. Prepare and maintain detailed reports of project costs, budgets, and overall financial performance. Liaise with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project delivery. Provide advice on contractual claims, disputes, and risk management. Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements for construction activities. Participate in project meetings and contribute to strategic planning sessions. Essential Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. Experience working on commercial projects, preferably in Ireland. Proven track record in managing large-scale projects from conception to completion.
