We have been exclusively partnered with a best-in-class media production and distribution business based in Ireland with an international footprint. Due to sustained growth and future plans, they are expanding their finance team. This role is a newly formed position and, as such, will require someone seeking a full-scope role with autonomy and responsibility.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and implement new tax legislation around S.497a tax credit
* Design and refine processes to ensure compliance and best practice
* Oversee and prepare all compliance claims
* Manage revenue correspondence
* Partner with all internal stakeholders and teams to optimise credits
* Review contracts and tenders for tax budgeting purposes
* Guide teams on the practicalities of tax credits within the lifecycle of the productions
* Deliver training sessions to the wider business
* Assist with CT where appropriate
Ideal candidate:
* CTA Qualified
* Strong technical ability
* Experience in R&D or film tax creditsis advantageous
* Proactive, confident and motivated to improve
* Passionate about the media sector and or have an interest in the entertainment business
