We are looking for a System Test Engineer for a 12-month contract to support complex, safety-critical automotive platforms.
With the rapid growth of electric vehicles and renewable energy, these systems play a critical role in improving performance, safety and sustainability.
Responsibilities Drive system-level test strategy and execution for key programs Work with architects and designers to understand requirements, specifications and implementations Develop and execute comprehensive validation plans Define long-term test roadmaps, capabilities, flows and methodologies to improve productivity Identify and test corner cases beyond specifications to uncover marginalities and risks Specify and support development of hardware and software needed to automate test coverage Skills Required Systems engineering and/or formal testing of complex (ideally automotive) systems AUTOSAR experience advantageous Embedded C/C++ and Python or other scripting languages Strong hardware and software troubleshooting Familiarity with compiler/debug tools (IAR, Keil, Segger, etc.) Version control and regression testing (Git, Bitbucket, SVN) Analog and mixed-signal board knowledge Comfortable using oscilloscopes, spectrum/logic analyzers and hardware debug tools Collaborative team player with strong communication skills Proactive, hands-on, fast learner Nice to have Automated silicon verification Automated software/system verification Wireless networking or RF Functional safety or safety-critical systems Requirements management tools (JAMA, DOORS, etc.) Cybersecurity ARM Cortex-M/R microcontrollers Education
