This role with a medical organisation based in Dublin North offers an opportunity for an experienced Head of HR.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will lead and develop the HR function, reporting to the CEO and forming part of the Senior Leadership team. The hybrid policy allows for 4 days onsite work and 1 day from home.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the Human Resource function
* Support the CEO, Senior Management, and Heads of Department through the development and implementation of best practices in Human Resources Management
* Review, update, and maintain Human Resources policies and procedures to reflect the organisations needs, ensuring alignment with legislation and policy
* Review and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the efficient and effective administration of the HR function
* Review and implement best practices on Recruitment and Selection to meet the immediate and future staffing requirements
* Oversight of the ongoing implementation of the Performance Management process and ensure all external reporting requirements are carried out
* Manage Employee/Industrial Relations including union negotiations/staff consultations from local to WRC level
* Maintenance of mandatory and non-mandatory training requirements and records, as well as provision of appropriate training
Requirements:
* Education to at least Degree level (Human Resource Management or related discipline)
* Minimum of five years' experience at senior level in a HR department
* Experience in Healthcare or medical field is an advantage
* Strong ER experience would be beneficial
* Strong leadership skills with significant experience leading large teams
* Able to successfully manage a range of different projects and work activities concurrently and assign work to others as appropriate to meet strict deadlines
* Able to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and other stakeholders and to achieve results through collaborative work
