Our client, is an established provider of palliative care services are seeking a full-time, permanent Quality & Risk Manager in Cork.
The successful candidate will develop, implement, and oversee the quality and risk management systems within a specialist healthcare setting.
This role is central to ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and continuous improvement across the organisation.
Role Requirements:
A
Level 8 (or higher) degree
in Healthcare Quality, Risk Management, or a health-related field.
Minimum of
5 years' experience
in quality and risk management within a healthcare setting.
Experience in
incident management, policy development, and quality assurance processes
.
Desirable:
Master's degree in Quality, Risk, or Patient Safety.
Experience with organisation-wide accreditation processes (e.g. ISO, CHKS).
About the Role:
Develop and implement quality and risk programmes
in line with national standards, maintaining risk registers and ensuring effective risk mitigation.
Oversee incident management and policy development
, addressing complaints, near misses, and ensuring compliance with HSE and HIQA requirements.
Lead governance and reporting processes
, chairing meetings, guiding teams, engaging with regulators, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
