Deputy Management Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Deputy Manager at our establishment.
This is a full-time permanent position, available for immediate start. The successful candidate will provide effective management support to the Childcare Manager and have a thorough knowledge of the early years sector.
The ideal candidate will have experience in staff management, engagement with parents, and working in partnership with schools. They will also have a clear understanding of regulatory requirements, health and safety, and best practice standards in childcare.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has excellent communication and organisational skills, and can motivate others. A minimum qualification of QQI Level 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent is essential, and previous relevant experience is required.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Childcare Manager and the Board of Management, as part of our dedicated team.
* Provide effective management support to the Childcare Manager.
* Ensure high quality and best practice standards are maintained throughout the service.
* Supervise and support the staff team in relation to curriculum planning, observations, and positive interactions with and outcomes for children.
* Engage with staff and parents, resolving day-to-day issues efficiently.
