As the leader of a team of Direct Support Workers, you will provide your team with guidance and support, and ensure that they deliver on our promise of a strengths-based approach with our service users. Your day-to-day focus will be:Coordinating and managing the daily operations of support services, including the provision of formal supervision and management of a team of Direct Support WorkersTo liaise with the service user's family and relevant members of multi-disciplinary teams, community groups and voluntary bodies with the aim of furthering Service User needsEncouraging a supportive and collaborative culture among your teamEnsuring the ongoing focus on service' users strengths and uncovering new ways of developing theseUnderstanding and delivering on Sánas' core Vision, Mission and ValuesAssuming management responsibilities in the absence of the Assistant Service Manager/Service Manager.Fostering the development of team members to become the next Sánas Team Leaders while we support you on your professional journeyRequirements:Third level Qualification in Health Care, Social Care, or Teaching.Experience of management and supervising both individuals and teamsExperience working with children/young adults with intellectual disabilities or autism.Benefits:The successful applicant will be offered an attractive remuneration and benefits package.Job Types: Full-time, Specified-purposePay: Up to €36,000.00 per yearBenefits:Bike to work schemeEmployee assistance programOn-site parkingWork Location: In person
