Job Description Summary
This job is responsible for driving new sales opportunities by deeply understanding customer business needs. This role involves generating and converting leads through inbound and outbound efforts, achieving sales quotas, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Manage pipelines of existing and prospective client merchants to assist them in developing their ePayments solution strategy.
* Upgrade client solutions with the latest PayPal product portfolio of customized payment solutions.
* Work with fast-growing merchants seeking guidance on how to grow their business with PayPal.
* Navigate all aspects of the strategic B2B sales process and deliver a value-based sales proposition to decision-makers while providing a strategic vision on consumer engagement and acquisition.
* Conduct multiple outreaches daily and articulate the PayPal value proposition to prospective merchants; lead them through the sales cycle.
* Forecast monthly revenue targets, maintain a strong pipeline, and achieve KPIs tied to a Sales Target Incentive programme.
Role Highlights and Activities
* Outbound telephone calls, pitching PayPal’s full product suite; acquire new merchants and cross-sell/upsell to existing customers.
* Support merchants through the full sales cycle from discovery to go live.
* Collaborate with internal PayPal teams to enable efficient interaction with merchants and end users.
* Build strong relationships with Finance, Pricing, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Product, Risk and Integration teams.
* Develop professional knowledge of the payments industry and demonstrate consultative selling benefits.
Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Highly proficient in English and Italian; professional level communication.
* Strong telephone presence with experience in outbound calling.
* Proficient in MS Office; Salesforce proficiency is desirable.
About You
* Self-driven, motivated, and able to drive revenue growth while building long-term client relationships.
* Results-oriented with strong pipeline management and forecasting abilities.
* Experience in an Inside Sales role in fast-paced online/financial services or e-commerce environments is preferred.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in target-driven environments.
