Role Overview
The Accounts Assistant will support the finance and operations teams by managing invoicing, reconciliation, quotes, and a wide range of administrative duties. This role is ideal for someone who is organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a busy office environment.
Location: Ashbourne, Co. Meath
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Finance
* Raise customer invoices and credit notes accurately and in a timely manner
* Reconcile accounts, payments, and supplier statements
* Assist with preparing quotes and sending them to customers
* Follow up on outstanding payments when required
* Support with monthly reporting and general bookkeeping tasks
Administration & Office Support
* Complete necessary office forms and documentation
* Maintain organised records and filing systems (digital and physical)
* Liaise with courier companies to arrange deliveries, collections, tracking, and issue resolution
* Provide administrative support for the operations and sales teams
* Assist with stock intake paperwork and supplier order forms
* Handle incoming calls and general enquiries when required
Other Duties
* Support management with ad-hoc projects
* Ensure all office processes are followed accurately
* Contribute to a positive and professional office environment

Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience in an accounts or administrative role (preferred but not essential)
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Good understanding of invoicing and reconciliation
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
