Team Horizon is seeking a Supply Chain Planner for our client, a global biopharmaceutical company, at their site in Sligo.
This role is crucial in optimizing and managing the flow of products and materials throughout the site. The Supply Chain Planner will ensure customer demand is fully met for new and existing products through demand management, efficient production planning, and inventory management. The successful candidate will maintain product availability by managing capacity effectively while ensuring cost and quality compliance.

What you will be doing:
* Develop and execute supply chain strategies to optimize inventory, reduce stockouts, and shorten lead times.
* Create and maintain accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans to meet customer needs.
* Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales teams for timely product delivery.
* Monitor supply chain performance metrics, identify improvements, and implement corrective actions.
* Assess and mitigate supply chain risks, develop contingency plans for disruptions.
* Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues.
* Keep records of inventory levels, procurement costs, and supplier performance.
* Maintain communication channels with stakeholders to align goals.
* Participate in cross-functional projects supporting business objectives.
* Perform any other duties as assigned.
What you need to apply:
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain planning and execution.
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a relevant Technical or Business discipline.
* APICS certification and experience with MRP/ERP systems, especially SAP, are desirable.
