General Manager – Soft Fruit (Strawberries, Blackberries, Raspberries) – Dublin, Ireland – €, + 30% Bonus
The Job:
We are seeking a dynamic, hands on General Manager to lead the Soft Fruit Division, covering strawberries, blackberries and raspberries. This operational role involves managing day to day production, optimising yield and quality, leading multidisciplinary team and collaborating across supply chain, commercial and technical functions. The position is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and is willing to "roll up their sleeves" to deliver results. Clear progression into senior leadership is possible within 1–2 years.

The Candidate:
- Proven managerial experience in soft fruit, horticulture, fresh produce, or a related agricultural sector
- Strong operational expertise with experience overseeing complex growing and production systems
- Hands on leadership style, capable of working alongside teams during busy periods
- Excellent knowledge of quality standards, technical compliance, and retailer requirements
- Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and KPI tracking
- Effective communicator, able to lead diverse teams and influence stakeholders
- Desirable: experience with glasshouse or controlled-environment agriculture, working with large retailers, or relevant qualifications in horticulture, agriculture, food science, or business management.
