About Your New Job
* Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision-engineered components to exact specifications.
* Load and unload materials into CNC machines safely and efficiently.
* Carry out first‑off inspections and in‑process checks to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
* Complete quality documentation and production reports accurately.
* Perform regular machine maintenance and ensure a clean, safe, and organized work area.
* Operate multiple machines when required to meet production targets.
* Download and adjust CNC programs as needed for specific jobs.
* Collaborate with CNC Programmers and other team members to optimize machining processes and tooling setups.
What Skills You Need
* Minimum 2 years’ experience setting and operating CNC lathes.
* Strong understanding of engineering drawings and measurement tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.).
* Proven ability to work independently and to tight tolerances.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexible and proactive approach to work.
* English language required (spoken and written).
