About the Role
A senior finance leader is sought to head the finance function for a major international supply chain hub based in Dublin. This role sits on the leadership team and acts as a strategic partner to executive management, shaping business direction, enabling transformation initiatives, and safeguarding financial performance and compliance.
You will guide the financial strategy of the Irish entity, oversee statutory responsibilities, and support ongoing evolution of global supply chain operating models, ensuring high service levels and robust, timely financial insight.
Responsibilities:
* Lead all finance, administrative, tax, legal and risk activities for the Irish operations
* Ensure regulatory, trade, and financial compliance across physical and financial flows
* Own delivery of accurate financial reporting; manage relationships with auditors and authorities
* Strengthen internal control frameworks; define remediation plans and drive completion
* Translate complex financial information into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders
* Partner with leadership on both strategic and operational initiatives
* Provide financial guidance for business plans and transformation projects in supply chain
* Oversee cash-flow optimization, billing, collection and period-end close processes
* Drive forecasting, budgeting, and performance monitoring across the organisation
* Produce impactful reporting for senior executives and local management
* Lead improvements to financial systems, processes and reporting capabilities
* Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements
Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA or equivalent)
* Experience working in complex, multinational environments
* Strong FP&A expertise alongside deep accounting knowledge (P&L and balance sheet)
* Demonstrated understanding of internal controls and trade compliance
* Proven track record producing financial statements and management reports
* Budgeting, cost analysis and performance management experience
* Knowledge of Irish regulatory and tax environment advantageous
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP S/4 and Power BI desirable
