Quality Assurance Role
This position contributes to the timely and effective management and execution of a global monitoring and testing program. The goal is to ensure that all aspects are aligned with established standards and procedures.
The responsibilities of this role include:
* Executing quality assurance tests to verify compliance with firm policies and guidelines.
* Developing, maintaining, and implementing annual testing plans.
* Evaluating emerging risks, themes, and identified issues, and effectively communicating these to leadership and risk partners.
* Maintaining consistency with global QA frameworks and governance approaches when identifying key issues and trends.
* Analyzing data from multiple sources and systems to identify findings and support conclusions.
Requirements for success in this position include:
* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably within Monitoring and Testing, Compliance, Risk Management, or Audit.
* A thorough understanding of internal control concepts, including the ability to evaluate and determine the adequacy of controls.
* Strong relationship building skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong verbal/written communication skills.
This role falls under the Central Bank's powers under the Fitness & Probity Regime.
The Compliance teams work globally across all lines of business to advise internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements and how to balance these with organizational needs. Their diverse mandate means they also provide input on new business strategies, product lines, policies, training, operational processes, risk mitigation, and control.
