Job Title
A Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist is required to provide advanced physiotherapy services in the field of Pelvic Health.
The successful candidate will work closely with Urogynaecology Consultants and healthcare professionals to manage waiting lists and improve patient pathways.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide initial care following referral triage and coordinate with the urogynaecology service as needed.
* Attend clinics with relevant Consultants or Specialist Registrars.
* Deliver advanced physiotherapy assessment, management, and treatment for patients referred from gynaecology services.
* Manage urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and related conditions in accordance with guidelines and under obstetric/gynecological team governance.
* Collaborate within the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective communication.
* Evaluate and develop the clinical specialist role through audits and research.
Requirements:
* Experience in Pelvic Health physiotherapy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of evidence-based practice and quality improvement methodologies.
