We are looking for staff who are committed to supporting people with disabilities and their families, in a person centred, community based, socially inclusive manner in accordance with our mission and national standards, underpinned by quality and best practice and research.Residential ServicesThe post of Residential and Respite Coordinator will have a pivotal role in service planning, coordinating, and managing activity and resources within the residential and respite services attached to St Christopher's Residential and Respite Services. The main responsibilities are: quality assurance and compliance, resource management, staffing and staff development, facilitating communication and professional / clinical leadership.Specified Purpose Contract- Residential and Respite Coordinator --39 hours Per Week -Qualification:Eligibility CriteriaQualifications and/ or experience:Each candidate must, at the latest date for receipt of completed applications for the post have the followingA minimum ordinary Degree (QQI Level 7) in Nursing/Applied Social Studies/ Social Care/ other qualifications may also be consideredHave at least 5 years post qualification experience in a similar setting (preferably in the intellectual disability sector), at least 3 of which must be at a Management/ Supervisor level.Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the roleDemonstrate evidence of continuing professional development at the appropriate level with at least degree level attained in education.Have an appropriate Health/Social Care Management Qualification at a minimum of QQI Level 6ExperienceExperience working with people with Intellectual Disabilities and behaviours of concern.Full clean driving licence and willingness to drive as part of roleCompetencies as per Job Description & Person SpecificationInformal enquiries.Clare O Dowd Residential Manager, M: or Latest date for receipt of completed applications -3pm on Friday 12th September 2025.Interview - Monday 22nd September 2025
