Clinical Nurse Manager 2- Cardiac Cath Lab
for our Hospital client in Dublin.
This is a full time, permanent
Responsibilities
Independently performs duties and assumes responsibility for care of assigned patients.
Performs techniques and routines in the specialty service area.
Performs or assists others to perform proper aseptic techniques, isolation procedures and infection control measures.
Documents nursing care in all assigned patient records.
Maintains patient's privacy and confidentiality of information and records always.
Evaluates care given including the patient response.
Reassesses and documents the proposed revision of interventions and desired outcomes.
Demonstrates ability to assess patient's understanding of and compliance with instructions and health care teaching.
The role entails directing and coordinating the daily operations of patient care within the unit.
Conducting thorough analyses of workloads and skill requirements is essential to effectively meet the needs of patients' care.
Evaluate the competencies of staff members and assign patient care responsibilities accordingly.

Requirements
Be registered on the general division of the register of nurses maintained by NMBI, and hold a current NMBI PIN
Have 5 years post registration experience in an acute setting, with a minimum of 3 years of this in a CardiacCath Lab
Completed a management-training programme and/or have management experience.
Have a recognised qualification within the speciality
Have completed a management training programme
Have proven clinical and professional ability
Have good IT skills with proficiency in the use of all relevant applications.
Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work on his/her own initiative.
Have excellent communication skills with the ability to positively engage with patients and staff.
