This state-of-the-art facility features 32 exam rooms and provides comprehensive orthopedic services including Children's Orthopedics, Foot & Ankle, Hand Surgery, and both operative and non-operative Sports Medicine. This facility also features on-site imaging and a walk-in clinic staffed by orthopedic physician assistants, surgeons and specialists from Mass General Brigham/Newton Wellesley Sports Medicine. The walk-in clinic at this location can assist with most orthopedic and sports medicine issues, with X-rays, bracing and casting being among the common services available. Additionally, this Practice Manager will oversee operations of the Orthopedic Walk-In located within the new Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine healthcare center at Boston Landing This clinic provides physical examinations, diagnostic imaging (including x-rays), and comprehensive evaluations to ensure fast, accurate diagnosis and treatment. The Wellesley clinic hours of operation are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm and the Walk-In is open Monday-Friday 8:00am-8:00pm and weekends 8:00am-1:00pm. Boston Landing Walk-In operating hours are Monday-Friday 10:00am-6:00pm and weekends 8:00am-1:00pm. In collaboration with the Director of Operations, Orthopedics, the Practice Manager will be responsible for all aspects of site operations across these two sites and work collaboratively with administrative, clinical, and leadership teams to achieve operational and clinical care goals. Provides direct supervision of administrative and clinical support staff, and operational duties and functions. As a member of the leadership team, provides administrative cross coverage to manage staffing and/or operational issues.Essential Functions-Oversees the day-to-day administrative performance of secretarial and clinical support staff and manages staff schedules.-Evaluates daily staffing needs and coordinates replacement of staff.-Performs hiring, orientation, and evaluation of staff.
