In preparation for an upcoming maternity leave, we are looking for an experienced Operations professional to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, commencing in mid-October 2025.
There may be scope for the successful candidate to transition into a recruitment role at the conclusion of the contract, depending on interest and business needs.
Who should apply?
We are looking to speak with people with the following experience:
* 5+ years experience in operations, administration, or support
* Previous experience within Recruitment would be beneficial
* Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
* Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across the team
* Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing varied tasks
* Tech-savvy – Ability to diagnose everyday technology issues
* Proven leadership and project management skills
Role Responsibilities
* Managing the full operations of Darwin Hawkins
* Overseeing a team of 6 Recruitment consultants and one part-time staff member of the Operations function
* Training and development of staff
* Ensuring all systems and procedures are utilised and functioning to a high standard
* Process improvement – Monitoring activity and updating KPI reports
* Becoming the company CRM expert
* Business analysis projects
* Involvement in Marketing and Events
* Involvement in Finance and Legal tasks
* Diagnosing and resolving IT issues, while liaising with IT provider
* HR point of contact for the business, including staff on- and off-boarding, annual leave management, and HR Policy communications
* Liaising with clients and suppliers
* Negotiating contracts and terms of service
