Senior Procurement Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the purchasing process, ensuring adequate stock availability to meet customer demands.
Detailed Knowledge and Organizational Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess detailed knowledge of purchasing, with a keen eye for attention to detail. Strong organizational skills are essential, as well as excellent proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate ERP data for MRP calculation of forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels.
2. Negotiate and organize branch stock cleanses, identifying problem stock and achieving targets for aged stock reduction.
3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure maximum commercial gain.
4. Collate and analyze supplier performance and market intelligence information.
5. Provide exceptional customer service and resolve debit note and invoice queries.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3-5 years' procurement experience with a large customer base.
* Experience with ERP systems.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
