Principal Python Engineer
role is with a fast-growing company in the
trading and financial services sector
.
They're launching a brand-new platform, giving you real ownership over architecture, tooling, and backend direction from day one.
The main focus of this hire is building and scaling the
core backend systems
that power the platform.
You'll work on
Python-based services
, API-driven architectures, and data-intensive workflows in a cloud-native AWS environment as the business continues to grow.
Responsibilities
Work on scalable backend services and APIs
Help shape architecture on a greenfield platform
Collaborate closely with senior engineers and stakeholders
Qualifications
8+ years of software engineering experience
Strong Python backend expertise
Hands-on experience with AWS and scalable systems
Excellent communication skills
Salary / Remuneration
Up to
€110,000
+ 12% bonus, 15% non-contributory pension and health insurance.
