LMFM Radio is the local radio station for Counties Louth and Meath with a broadcast area stretching from the border with Northern Ireland to the M50. Founded in 1989 the station is, by far, the most popular radio service in the North East with almost twice the listenership of its nearest competitor. The station also has a huge following on social media and has over 500,000 page views each month on LMFM.ie
Your Role LMFM is looking to expand its market-leading sales team by recruiting a Sales Support Administrator to identify and develop new business and to administer our Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) enabling us to maintain strong relationships with our customers and to grow our business. This is a support-focused role without direct selling. A determination to identify and develop relationships with potential new customers is key to success in this role.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of social media platforms and search engines, enjoy meeting new customers and have a flair for efficient administration.
Day to day you will
* Identify possible new revenue from a variety of sources including social media platforms and search engines
* Chat with potential customers to compile and gather information relating to their advertising preferences
* Maintain the CRM system to ensure customer data is accurate and up to date
* Prepare weekly briefings for the sales manager
* Attend weekly sales meetings
* Assist in providing AL or other leave cover for other sales team members
* Adhere to all sales department policies, including recommended rates and packages
* Assist with special sales-related projects
* Stay abreast of competitive conditions
* Consistently strive for best-in-class customer care delivery
What we’re looking for from you
* Highly motivated and able to work on your own initiative
* Tech‑savvy with good understanding of social media platforms and search engines for information and data retrieval
* Good diction and telephone skills
* Ability to experiment with AI to gather data more efficiently and to assist in preparing information.
* Good time management and organisation skills
* Efficient in Microsoft tools, including Excel × PowerPoint
