Board of Directors (Trustor) – NOVAS
NOVAS currently has three vacancies on its Board of Directors (Charity Trustees). Applications will be assessed on a first‑come, first‑served basis until all vacancies are filled. Candidates will be selected based on the following criteria:
Housing & Property: Experience in Social Housing, property development or construction, housing management or property funding.
Legal: Experience or knowledge in Irish Law, including property or employer legislation.
Finance: Experience or knowledge of accounting, auditing, ecomomics or other financial expertise.
The NOVAS Board meets on average six times a year, preferably in‑person in Limerick with the option for occasional online participation. Board members are expected to serve on at least one of the following sub‑committees: Audit & Finance, Housing & Tenants, Quality Client Services, Governance, and Advocacy, Communications & Fundraising. Sub‑committees meet on average four times a year.
