Job Title: Tender Representative 1
Overview The Tender Representative 1 is responsible for working with multiple divisions and departments within an organization to ensure that tenders are submitted in a timely and accurate manner.
This role is also responsible for ensuring product pricing is updated on the relevant systems.
Reporting to Team Lead, responsibilities include preparing quotations received from customers and internal teams, sending written price confirmations as required, searching for potential tender notices relevant to the organization's business, and working with key stakeholders to ensure tenders are submitted within deadlines and requirements.
The successful candidate will oversee the compilation of tenders and bids, ensuring they are handled professionally, quickly, and compliantly. They will also support colleagues on more complex tenders as needed and work with other departments globally to gather information relevant for tenders.
Maintaining accurate tender files for historical and reference purposes is a key responsibility, including information relating to awards, alterations, and extensions of contracts. Updating pricing on relevant systems as necessary to allow for accurate order entry is also essential.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and prioritization skills, ability to work under pressure, strong research and analytical skills, attention to detail, and multitasking abilities.
Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in another language is advantageous. Experience or knowledge of pricing, tenders, or public procurement is beneficial, as is a legal or business qualification. Excellent written and interpersonal skills, computer literacy, and willingness to travel on company business are also desired traits.
