Your New Role
In your new role as a Corporate Associate (M&A), you will be part of an exceptional team advising on highly complex and innovative transactions. The team have been involved in most large Irish M&A transactions and most of the major flotations of Irish companies.
They have advised on a large number of complex private equity transactions, acted for Irish and international equity sponsors, lenders, companies raising capital and management teams. They advise at every stage of the company life-cycle.
Key Responsibilities will be:
* Acting for leading market participants, domestic and international.
* Provision of legal and commercial expertise.
* Working as part of cross-border and interdisciplinary teams to advise on corporate activities.
* Actively engaging in business development and thought leadership initiatives and seeking out opportunities for new work.
* Drafting legal documents clearly and concisely, creating solutions using legal knowledge and commercial judgement to advise and support all of our clients.
* Attending networking and marketing events.
* Developing strong relationships with the firm's clients, ensuring the highest quality of service and acting in a diligent, responsible and professional manner.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* NQ to 5 years' relevant post-qualification experience (This should come from a top tier law firm. Foreign qualified & commonwealth qualified solicitors will also be considered subject to experience gained and necessary visa requirements).
* Strong academic credentials
* Excellent analytical, technical, and drafting skills
* High level of commercial and business awareness
* A calm and measured approach to problem-solving
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Capacity to manage competing priorities and deadlines
* A growth mindset open to feedback
* Adaptability
