Role OverviewAs an Investment Controller, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating investment controlling activities for private equity and related structures, with a particular focus on special purpose vehicles (SPVs). This dynamic position offers exposure to complex cross-border investment structures and close collaboration with global stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordination with global teams on SPV and investment controlling activities.Oversight and review of work performed by external administrators and service providers.Monitoring and analysis of investment-related activities across multiple private equity programs.Reconciliation of monthly valuations as prepared by third-party administrators.Preparation of periodic financial and investor reports for SPVs and funds.Cash flow forecasting, capital call and distribution monitoring, and performance measurement.Relationship management across internal teams, external partners, and advisors.Active participation in projects, process improvements, and system implementations.RequirementsDegree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CPA or equivalent) preferred.3+ years of experience in private equity, investment controlling, fund/SPV accountingStrong understanding of private markets structures, including SPVs and related financing.Experience coordinating and reviewing work of third-party fund administrators.Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel proficiency.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet demanding deadlines.A proactive mindset with curiosity to understand the impact of complex transactions on private equity programs.
