Job Summary
The Team Leader will oversee the delivery of ecological services to clients in Ireland, leading a team of five ecologists and environmental specialists. This is an exciting opportunity to grow our presence in Ireland and contribute to the company's expanding workload.
Main Responsibilities
1. Manage a team of five ecologists and environmental specialists in Ireland, providing site- and office-based support for their development and mentorship.
2. Nurture an enthusiastic and productive working environment, fostering collaboration and career growth among team members.
3. Attend regular Ecology team meetings, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
4. Oversee the preparation and delivery of tenders, ensuring successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
5. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.

Requirements
* A minimum of 10 to 12 years' post-graduation working experience, preferably in the Irish and/or British context.
* Previous experience in leading teams and mentoring ecologists of all grades.
* Strong knowledge of Irish habitats and protected species, including protected species licences.
* A proven track record of delivering survey programmes, developing mitigation strategies, and gaining regulator approval.
* Experience with Ecological Impact Assessment and Environmental Statement chapters.
* Proficiency in Appropriate Assessment and winning work from commercial clients.
