Our client –
Our client is a top-quality full service practice firm based in Dublin City. An opportunity has arisen within the Forensic Accounting department for a fully qualified accountant to join the team.
The team has extensive experience working with solicitors and barristers to provide assistance with the financial aspects of all types of litigation and offers support at all stages to include pre-trial, trial and settlement.
The role –
The work primarily involves marital separation cases. It will also involve commercial litigation and disputes, personal injury cases, financial investigations and fraud.
The challenges –
The work can be pressurised at times and often involves attending meetings in later afternoons when the courts are closed and Barristers are available to meet.
The rewards of working this type of position can far outweigh the challenges. You will sharpen you forensic accounting knowledge, help resolve issues for families going through difficult times and help companies uncover fraud, insider trading and embezzlement.
About you –
To be able to do the job you will be/ have –
1. A qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA, CPA OR CA SA
2. Have a good knowledge of accounts and tax
3. Enjoy analytical work
4. Good communicator – capable of giving evidence in Court. (This is a skill that would be developed over time)
