Responsibilities
Working with DataLogix as an Operational Technology Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Collaborating with clients to understand their operational technology requirements and project objectives.
Designing, implementing, and maintaining operational technology systems and solutions to meet project requirements.
Conducting system assessments, troubleshooting, and resolving operational technology issues.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless integration of operational technology systems with existing systems.
Conducting system testing, validation, and documentation to ensure system reliability and performance.
Providing technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal teams on operational technology best practices and industry standards.
Staying updated with the latest trends, advancements, and regulations in the operational technology field.
Skills
Degree in a computer related discipline with networking preferred
CCNP, CCDP, CCNA, VCP, Cybersecurity Certifications highly regarded
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a network support role
Good working knowledge of Cisco Networking & Firewalls (Palo Alto and Cisco)
Experience with configuration & troubleshooting of LAN, WAN, Wireless LAN and VPN
Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP technologies
Experience with Windows Server platforms & Active Directory
Good working knowledge of VMWare vSphere & vMotion, Hyper V
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
Full driving license with own car (car allowance provided)
