This role partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to define product strategy, translate complex business requirements into SAP capabilities, and deliver scalable solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, compliance and financial outcomes.Serving as the primary liaison between business units and IT, the Senior Advisor ensures alignment between operational goals and SAP functionality while maintaining a forward-looking product roadmap. This role directly impacts cost savings, process optimization, regulatory compliance and overall organizational performance.Essential FunctionsDrive Business ValueIdentify opportunities to automate workflows, improve data accuracy and reduce manual processes using SAP solutions.Develop SAP strategies that enhance operational efficiency, revenue assurance and compliance while reducing risk and cost.Leverage KPIs to measure performance and drive continuous improvement across SAP-enabled processes.Define and Lead Business RequirementsGather, document and prioritize business requirements for SAP enhancements and automation initiatives.Facilitate workshops and working sessions with business stakeholders to align SAP capabilities with operational and financial goals.Translate business needs into clear functional requirements for technology teams.Product Strategy and ExecutionOwn and maintain the SAP product roadmap within assigned functional areas.Oversee implementation of new features, enhancements and integrations, ensuring solutions are scalable and sustainable.Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to optimize speed, accuracy and usability.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with IT, finance, supply chain, operations and commercial teams to ensure seamless SAP integration across end-to-end processes.Support alignment with corporate policies, pricing strategies, regulatory requirements and audit standards.Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing clarity, structure and direction throughout the development lifecycle.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.SAP product management experience required; strong knowledge of SAP modules preferred.Strong logic, deductive reasoning and critical thinking skills.Ability to synthesize data and simplify findings to solve complex business issues.Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to groups and senior stakeholders.Basic financial analysis skills; experience with regulatory compliance is a plus.Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in complex environments.Knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution industry preferred.Proficiency with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, SQL) is a strong plus.
