The Tophouse bar & grill is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our upscale gastro pub. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer experiences, managing staff and driving profitability. A leader with a passion for food, beverage and exceptional service. The following are some of the requirements: Oversee daily operations to ensure adherence to company standards. Manage and coordinate opening and closing procedures. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed. Recruit, train and supervise staff, bar, waiting, kitchen and support staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Ensure a high level of service. Handle customer enquiries and concerns professionally and promptly. Have a high level of communication with employees. Monitor and control costs including labour, food, beverage and other supplies. Analyse financial reports and identify areas of improvement. Collaborate with the marketing and social media team to attract new customers and retain existing ones. Comply with legislation and regulations. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends in a hands-on role.
