The Opportunity I am currently recruiting for a high-impact Business Manager to join one of Ireland's leading sales, marketing, and technical services companies. My client is a high-growth, values-based organisation dedicated to delivering clinical solutions that improve patient outcomes across the island of Ireland. This is a key leadership appointment within their Critical Care & Medical Division. If you are a commercially sharp leader with a background in medical devices and a passion for driving high-performance teams, this is an exceptional environment to further your career. The Role As Business Manager, you will hold full accountability for the commercial success of the division. You will lead a team of Product Specialists to achieve revenue and profitability targets while maintaining a \"partner of choice\" status with global healthcare suppliers and local providers. Key Responsibilities Include: Commercial Leadership: Full P&L accountability, managing gross margins, cost-to-serve, and sustainable profit performance. Strategic Planning: Developing and executing sales plans, forecasting, and pipeline management. Team Development: Recruiting, coaching, and empowering a high-performance sales team, including active field-based mentoring. Stakeholder Engagement: Building deep relationships with Key Leaders, senior HSE executives, and private hospital leadership. Market Expansion: Identifying new business opportunities and project-managing complex tenders and bids. The Ideal Candidate My client is looking for a professional who combines clinical market knowledge with sophisticated financial acumen. A strong track record in medical device commercial roles with existing networks in the HSE and private sector. You should be comfortable translating financial data (P&L, variance analysis) into actionable commercial strategies.
