An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced
Accounts Assistant
to join an established Building Contractor in Carlow.
What you need to do:
Assist with accounts payable and receivable using ABM Accounting System
Raise client invoices and match purchase orders
Contribute to month-end and annual financial reports
Bank, credit card and petty cash reconciliations and posting
Ad hoc duties to be performed as and when required
Maintain records and assist with inventory tracking
Support cross-functional teams with general admin tasks
What you need to have:
3–5 years' experience in a finance or admin role (or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good communicator and team player
Willingness to learn and grow across departments
Use of ABM would be an advantage
Qualified Accounting Technician/part-qualified Accountant desirable but not essential
Demonstrated experience in using Microsoft Excel
Key attributes also necessary include efficient work methods, working both as part of a team and on own initiative and good interpersonal skills
