Our breadth of expertise and capabilities deliver outstanding market returns.The roleThe Procurement and Vendor Manager team plays a key role within the Fidelis Partnership. You will work with the Head of Procurement and Vendor management to ensure we optimise our processes and secure excellent value and service for all IT and non-IT Products and Services in our locations in London, Dublin and Bermuda. As a primary support between vendors, internal business teams and procurement functions you will be work across the organisation to support valued business outcomes in a robust and compliant manner. Fidelis is a dynamic and fast paced environment where attention to detail and timely delivery of clear and meaningful successful outcomes is the key measure on which you will be assessed. The successful candidate will be expected to be a self starter who can evidence taking the initiative in driving improved outcomes, controls, cost saving and financial management, with strong operational understanding of contracts, compliance and finance. The Fidelis culture is office based as we are stronger and better when we are together – the expectation is 5 days in the office is the norm.Key accountabilitiesEstablish an excellent working relationship across teams to ensure procurement controls are effective in our day-to-day successSupport the PO process from creation through to billing and supplier invoice queriesSupport operation of procurement practices & processes, working closely with IT, Finance, Legal and Compliance teams as neededOversee Vendor Management controlsManage objectives for procurement & vendor management in line with planProvide procurement advice & guidance across business units as neededData analysis on supplier and expense consumption, validating services offered and procured are operating line with expectations.Control, analysis & reporting of expenditure, savings & performance of suppliersEnsure requirements of the Auditors are met on a timely basisContribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes, including involvement in system upgrades or new implementations.Manage, track, prepare, and produce monthly reports/metrics.Manage and maintain Procurement inboxes both internal and external.Maintain and update contracts system.Skills & experienceRelevant degree and minimum 3 years' experience in procurement and vendor management in a regulated environment, with solid foundation in procurement and vendor engagement.Practical experience in procurement activities including processes, planning & data gathering.Good understanding of vendors and resellers policies, practices and standard contract termsTrack record in leading delivery of procurement results through structured planned approach including governance, quality assurance & compliance.Managing risks, issues, deadlines, dependencies and provision of up to date reports at any time.Contributing to a supportive and rewarding working environment that aligns with the company culture as well as having a sense of ownership, accountability and excellence.
