Site Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team in Kilkenny, Ireland. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of a €4m refurbishment project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Setting out, leveling, and surveying the site using the latest surveying equipment.
* Monitoring and maintaining quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
* Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
* Providing technical support and guidance to the site team on engineering matters.
* Maintaining accurate records of site activities, including progress reports, daily diaries, and as-built drawings.
* Implementing and enforcing health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel on site.
* Resolving any technical issues or conflicts that may arise during the course of the project.
* Liaising with the client, consultants, and other project stakeholders to address any concerns or queries.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
* Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on construction projects over €1m.
* Proficiency in the use of surveying instruments and software.
* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
