This person will be a key member of the accounts payable function. In addition to administrative tasks, the person will collaborate closely with suppliers, the warehouse and purchasing teams. They will also be a key contributor to the roll out of our new ERP system, Meditech.Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices for UPMC group companiesMaintain vendor master dataReconcile vendor balances and respond to vendor queriesEnsure adherence to three-way match principles for all purchasesResolve invoice exceptions in a timely mannerSAP Concur administration and processing of claimsAd hoc monthly reporting tasks and reportingSupport year-end auditQualifications & ExperiencePrevious Accounts Payable experience dealing with high volumes and purchase order systems is essentialPreferred qualifications including an accounting technician qualification or other business qualification, though these are not essentialAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPossess strong IT skills particularly in Microsoft ExcelThe position will evolve as the business grows, requiring adaptability in developing processes and proceduresThis job description outlines the key areas of responsibility for the position.
