Job Title: Strategic Asset Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our asset management strategy, ensuring the effective implementation of our Estates Strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver an Asset Management Plan, aligning with the Council's Estates Strategy, to optimize the value derived from land and property assets.
* Establish and oversee the performance of an Asset forum, tracking key metrics and associated outcomes.
* Manage the Council's Asset Register, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
* Lead the Land and Property Team, servicing the Land & Property Sub-Committee, and overseeing the Council's land and property portfolio.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in asset management or a related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
* A deep understanding of legislative requirements, governance arrangements, policies, procedures, and best practice in asset management.
* The ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop strategic recommendations.
