Accountant (Accounting Firm)
We are looking to hire a talented, experienced finance accountant to join our remote professionals team. You'll be preparing a solid trial balance, as well as preparing and checking balance sheets, P/L statements, and other financial reports for accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
* Perform bank and account reconciliations
* Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with returns
* Support audits and maintain proper financial documentation
* Analyze financial data to support business decisions
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* 2+ years working with US clients
* 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero)
* Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
* Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and tax compliance
