We are seeking to recruit Resident Engineer (Electrical) with 7+ years of relevant experience in site supervision activities to be based in the North-West region of Ireland.
Candidates will be seconded into a client office/site to work on capital projects in water and wastewater sectors. Suitable candidates with similar experience interested in positions elsewhere in Ireland can also apply and will be considered for future opportunities.
* Experience in administering Contracts – Public Works & FIDIC.
* Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation and Regulations.
* Chartered Engineer.
* Managing Safely in Construction Training.
* Enthusiastic, hardworking, flexible.
* Willing to take responsibility, team player.
Responsibilities:
* Specialising in Electrical elements of the works.
* Driving project delivery on site for Uisce Éireann, focusing on health & safety, schedule, cost, and quality standards.
* Ensuring works comply with contract documents and specifications.
* Monitoring materials and workmanship, ensuring testing requirements are met.
* Reporting on works to the Employer’s Requirements.
* Keeping all relevant parties informed of site issues.
* Implementing safety policies and standards.
* Reviewing HSQE documentation such as RAMS, TMP.
* Monitoring health and safety compliance and contractor proposals.
* Conducting weekly health and safety reviews, following up on issues.
* Reporting incidents and assisting in investigations.
* Participating in HSQE team inspections and issue resolution.
