The Role / Location
The position is based at Savills, 33 Molesworth Street, Dublin 2 with on-site presence as required by client/business needs.
Following a period of significant partnership growth working with Ireland's leading builders and developers, Savills is looking for an experienced new homes specialist to join their leading New Homes department. This is a senior client-facing role responsible for ensuring exceptional client relationship management is delivered and that business growth is maintained.
The Senior Sales Manager will manage a portfolio of new homes developments for key client accounts. They will be responsible for the preparation and presentation of market-leading sales & marketing strategy; the implementation of agreed strategy to include target setting and KPI monitoring; client reporting and analytics; and team management.
The SSM will combine excellent commercial acumen with the ability to inspire, lead and mentor their team members. They will have a proven track record in delivering results to all stakeholder groups - internal and external - in a fast paced and agile environment.
The successful candidate will have extensive professional experience (min. 15-years) in the residential new homes industry having held positions in residential sales agency and within a commercial developer/construction company. They will possess excellent communication and reporting skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Client leadership- build and manage long-term relationships with key clients acting as their trusted advisor and overseeing a team that delivers client targets.
* End-to-End project management- lead new homes projects from pitch to launch, including strategy development, pricing advice, marketing coordination, sales delivery, reporting and analytics.
* Strategic input - advise clients on design, unit mix, floorplans, and pricing strategies, ensuring schemes are optimised for market success.
* Team leadership - provide guidance and mentorship to sales negotiators and sales support staff, ensuring team performance and professional development.
* Business development- Identify, pitch, and secure new instructions from both existing and prospective clients, supporting the continued growth of the department.
* Market expertise - provide market intelligence, competitor analysis and reporting to clients, ensuring Savills maintains its position as a market leader in the sector.
* Collaboration - work closely with all stakeholder groups to include internal and external marketing teams, legal advisors, and other Savills departments to deliver seamless client service.
* Governance & Reporting - ensure accurate reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management, with full accountability for client deliverables.
* Brand Representation - represent Savills at industry events to include client functions, enhancing the firm's profile in the new homes sector.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
* PRSA licence.
* Proven experience at senior level (Associate Director / Divisional Director) within the new homes or residential development sector.
* Strong track record of working on the client side with developers, managing projects from concept through to sales delivery
* Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
* Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to develop and deliver profitable business strategies.
* Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and mentor a high-performing team.
* Exceptional presentation, reporting, and communication skills (written and verbal).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and sales databases.
* A collaborative team player with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
* Full clean driving licence.
