We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Project Engineer specializing in Filling Line operations to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will lead, coordinate, and execute capital projects related to filling equipment and processes for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, installation, commissioning, and validation of filling lines and related equipment (bottles, pouches, cans, etc.).
Oversee project lifecycle from initial feasibility studies, budgeting, and scheduling through to completion and handover.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, quality, safety) to ensure smooth project execution.
Evaluate and select appropriate filling technologies and vendors based on technical, regulatory, and economic factors.
Develop detailed project plans with timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
Ensure projects comply with relevant regulatory and industry standards (e.g., GMP, FDA, ISO).
Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and optimize filling operations, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and quality.
Manage and minimize project risks while proactively addressing issues as they arise.
Prepare technical documentation, project reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Mentor and support junior engineers within the team.
Lead and ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental guidelines throughout all project phases.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field).
Minimum 7+ years of engineering/project management experience in filling operations within pharmaceutical industry.
Proven expertise with various filling technologies.
Track record of successfully delivering capital projects on time and within budget.
Strong understanding of automation, controls, and equipment integration.
Demonstrated knowledge of relevant standards and regulatory guidelines (e.g., GMP, FDA, ISO).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficient in project management tools and engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Project, etc.).
Willingness to travel to suppliers, vendors, and site locations as needed.
