About Your New Organisation
Your new company is a well-established design and construction firm with over 50 years of experience in the residential sector in Ireland. A third-generation family-run business, they currently manage over 10 active development sites across Leinster, primarily on the outskirts of Dublin.

Leveraging Their Landbank and Expertise
They have their own land holdings where they undertake building projects but also provide construction solutions to large-scale developers within the industry. With a strong management structure in place, they are respected for delivering high-quality work in housing and apartment developments.

About Your New Role
Your new position is as a site manager on one of their ongoing developments in Carrickmines, South Dublin. This project has an established management framework, including a project manager, engineer, and finishing foreman. As the ideal candidate, you will take charge of this project to enable the project manager to focus on other tasks.

This hourly-paid role offers a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the organisation for 6-12 months before committing to a long-term position. This arrangement has been successful in the past, allowing employees to earn a regular income based on their working hours (typically 45-48 hours per week).

Your Responsibilities
You will oversee the day-to-day activities on site, ensuring quality control and subcontractor management. Once you complete this project, you will be assigned to a new development, which has a remaining duration of over 12 months.

What You Need to Succeed
To be eligible for this position, you must have a proven track record of site management experience in the residential sector. This can include managing your own business or working as a builder, undertaking renovations and new builds.

You should be able to read technical drawings and effectively communicate with subcontractors. Initiative and problem-solving skills are essential in this role, as you will need to address any issues that arise. While a trade or educational background is beneficial, it is not mandatory.

The Benefits
In return for your expertise, you will join a reputable organisation with a strong industry presence, renowned for producing high-quality work. You will have the autonomy to manage a high-end build project, receiving support from both senior management and colleagues on site. Your remuneration will be paid by the hour, typically ranging from €30.00 to €40.00 per hour, depending on whether you are a PAYE worker or self-employed. You can expect to work 45-50 hours per week. Additionally, you will enjoy good flexibility when required and opportunities for career progression if desired.
