About the Role
We are seeking a Software Test Engineer to join a dynamic, collaborative development environment focused on delivering high-quality software products for industrial automation systems. This role involves testing sophisticated software applications that act as the human–machine interface for automation and control devices.
Working as part of a non-hierarchical Scrum team, you will apply your testing expertise, contribute to continuous improvement, and engage in hands-on work spanning functional testing, automation, hardware configuration, and client interaction.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform functional and non-functional testing throughout the software development lifecycle
* Contribute effectively within an agile Scrum team
* Develop automated test cases using modern test automation tools
* Configure and test relevant hardware devices
* Analyse results, document observations, and contribute to product quality improvements
About You
You are proactive, analytical, and highly motivated, with a structured approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to work within an agile environment. You take ownership of tasks, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high standards of accuracy and delivery. A passion for continuous learning, quality, and test-driven development is essential.
Essential Criteria
* 1–2 years' experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role
* Strong automation testing skills (e.g., Selenium, Python)
* Knowledge of Java and/or JavaScript
* Solid understanding of software testing principles and processes
* Understanding of networking fundamentals
* Familiarity with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS)
Recommended Entry-Level Criteria
* Degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Software Development, Engineering, or related field
* ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing (desirable)
* AWS Cloud Practitioner certification (desirable)
