A Public Sector client is currently recruiting for a Technical Services Manager on a permanent basis to join their Team in a major facility in Dublin 1. The successful candidate will lead the Technical Services Department to support the facilities mission and strategic goals. Working with the Head of Operations and Sustainability, they ensure efficient day-to-day management of the campus and delivery of high-quality services. The role maintains up-to-date technical standards, drives departmental change, manages staff, and collaborates with stakeholders to achieve operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
9. Lead and manage the full range of hard and soft FM operations, including technical services, switch operations, and other assigned non-core service functions.
10. Identify opportunities for service or operational improvement, preparing business cases and clear rationales for development initiatives.
11. Develop and implement a comprehensive Technical Services and FM strategy that translates organisational goals into effective operational delivery.
12. Build, develop, and motivate a high-performing Technical Services and FM team capable of delivering innovative, leading-edge service initiatives.
13. Review and enhance current FM practices, ensuring robust standards, policies, and procedures that align with organisational mission, values, and strategic direction.
14. Strengthen workforce capability by assessing training needs, implementing cost-effective development programmes, and promoting flexibility and excellence across the team.
15. Contribute to organisational planning by supporting the development, implementation, and monitoring of annual service plans, ensuring progress toward defined targets.
